Lube N' Go

FAQ

🚀 Getting Started
  • Is this a good setup for starting a mobile oil change business?
Yes. Lube N’ Go systems are designed specifically for mobile operators who want a professional, scalable setup from day one. With a compact footprint, high-capacity tank, and pump-driven delivery system, you can service multiple vehicles efficiently without relying on messy containers or slow processes. Many of our customers use this system to launch and grow successful mobile oil change businesses.
  • What size vehicle or trailer do I need for a Lube N’ Go system?
Our systems are designed to fit in most full-size cargo vans or enclosed trailers. We even have smaller systems designed to fit in compact cargo vans and pickup trucks. If you are unsure about your specific vehicle, we’re happy to help you confirm fitment.
  • Which system is right for me?
It depends on your operation. Smaller setups are ideal for startups and light-duty service, while larger or multi-tank systems are better suited for fleet maintenance and high-volume work. We can help you choose the right configuration based on your goals.
  • How long does installation take?
Installation is straightforward and typically takes just a few hours. Each system includes mounting hardware and is designed for easy installation. Most customers can install it themselves or with basic assistance. However, we do offer installation services if customer can bring the vehicle to our location.
  • How do Lube N’ Go mobile oil change systems work?
A Lube N’ Go system stores oil in a mounted tank and uses an air-powered pump to deliver oil through a hose and dispensing gun. This allows for fast, controlled, and clean oil changes directly at the vehicle—without lifting containers or making a mess.
  • How fast can I perform an oil change with your system?
Our pump-based systems provide consistent, pressurized flow, allowing you to complete oil changes significantly faster than gravity-fed or pump-less systems (10-15 minutes). Faster service means more jobs per day and higher revenue potential.
  • Can your systems handle multiple types of fluids?
Yes. Many of our systems can be configured to handle multiple fluids such as engine oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, and more using separate tanks.
  • How many vehicles can I service before refilling?
That depends on your tank size and the type of vehicles you’re servicing. Larger-capacity systems allow you to complete multiple jobs in a single trip without refilling. Lube N’ Go systems can service up to 50 vehicles without refilling.
  • How are traditional pump-based systems better than pump-less systems?

Traditional pump-based systems use pressurized force to move oil, while pump-less systems rely on vacuum. This fundamental difference affects performance in several key ways:

  • Faster, More Consistent Flow: Pump systems deliver oil at a steady, pressurized rate, allowing for faster service at the vehicle. Pump-less systems often have slower and less consistent flow during actual dispensing.
  • Better Control and Accuracy: With a pump and dispensing gun, operators have precise control over how much oil is delivered. This reduces waste and ensures accurate fills every time.
  • Simpler Operation: Pump-based systems are straightforward—pull the trigger and oil flows. Pump-less systems often require managing vacuum pressure, sealed connections, and additional setup steps.
  • More Reliable in Real-World Conditions: Pump systems perform consistently regardless of minor variables. Pump-less systems can be affected by factors like temperature, pressure balance, and system sealing.
  • Proven Technology: Pump-based systems are widely used across the industry and are easy to maintain, service, and troubleshoot.

While pump-less systems can be effective for certain large-scale or specialized applications, pump-based systems are typically the better choice for mobile service operations that prioritize speed, control, and reliability.

  • Why does tank material matter?

Lube N’ Go tanks are constructed from high-quality aluminum, offering several advantages over traditional steel tanks:

    • Lighter weight, allowing for better fuel efficiency and higher payload capacity
    • Corrosion resistance, especially important in outdoor and mobile environments
    • Long-term durability without rust concerns

In addition, all of our tanks are:

    • Pressure tested and certified for safety
    • Built with internal baffles to reduce fluid movement and improve stability during transport

This ensures a safer, longer-lasting system that performs reliably on the road.

  • How much maintenance do your systems require?
Our systems are designed for durability and daily use. Routine maintenance is minimal and typically includes basic checks of hoses, fittings, and pump components.
  • How long do Lube N’ Go systems last?
Our systems are built from heavy-duty materials and designed for long-term professional use. With proper care, they can provide many years of reliable service. We have many satisfied customers still in operation from over 15 years ago!
